Dekopon is a seedless and sweet variety of mandarin orange. This is a hybrid between Kiyomi and Ponkan, developed in Japan in 1972. Among other citrus fruits, Dekopon is one the king of Japanese citrus fruit because Dekopon has nutrition rich juice and really sweet taste. Therefore, Dekopon is the Kumamoto’s symbol citrus fruit and the best choice as a high quality fruit gift. In fact, many customers use it as a winter gift in Japan.
